People in speech therapy are fighters and survivors and they deserve high quality therapy materials that inspire them.

Megan Berg, MA-CCC-SLP

SLP Insights was founded by Megan Berg, MA-CCC-SLP. Megan spent 8 years as a polar science communicator before returning to grad school to pursue a career in speech-language pathology. Working with an international group of scientists built her skills in visually distilling complex information for diverse audiences.

Megan graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder and interned for the Oglala Lakota County School District in Pine Ridge, South Dakota and on the stroke and traumatic brain injury units at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. She completed her clinical fellowship at the Weld RE-4 school district in Windsor, Colorado and is currently with Innovative Rehabilitation in Missoula, Montana.

Megan brings her experience as a science communicator to the field by creating visually engaging, inspirational therapy materials that are balanced with both evidence-based practice and the art of human connection.

Being an SLP is a challenging, creative, and rewarding gig. Ultimately, no therapy materials are magical enough to instantly fix everything. The connection between you and the client is where the magic happens. It’s my hope that SLP Insights materials can add a little sparkle to that magic.
